KESARI – CHEF DAVE

Ingredients:
- 1 cup semolina flour (Roasted)
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- Salt as needed
- A pinch cardamom powder
- A little food coloring (yellow)
- 15 cashew nuts (cut in half, fried)
- 15 raisins (fried)
- A little vegan ghee
Cooking method:
- Prepare a pan, add vegan ghee, add cashew nuts and raisins. Fry until the raisins bloom and cashew nut turn browned. Remove and set aside.
- Use the same pan, stir in the semolina flour for a while. Lift and set aside.
- Prepare another pot, add water, coconut milk, food coloring, cardamom powder, salt and stir until it boiled.
- Then, lower the heat, add semolina flour and stir constantly until it thickens.
- Then, add sugar and stir again.
- Add raisins, cashew nuts that have been fried earlier and a little vegan ghee. Stir well.
- Put the kesari into a glass container with banana leaves sheet. Flatten and let it cool.
- Once cool, it can be cut and ready to serve

Bahan – bahan:
- 1 cawan tepung suji(sangai)
- 1 cawan santan
- 2 cawan air
- 1 cawan gula
- Garam secukupnya
- Secubit serbuk buah pelaga
- Sedikit pewarna makanan(kuning)
- 15 biji kacang gajus(belah dua,goreng)
- 15 biji kismis(goreng)
- Sedikit minyak sapi vegan
Cara memasak:
- Sediakan kuali, masukkan minyak sapi vegan, masukkan kacang gajus dan kismis. Goreng sehingga kismis kembang dan kacang gajus keperangan. Angkat dan ketepikan.
- Gunakan kuali yang sama, sangai tepung suji seketika. Angkat dan ketepikan.
- Sediakn periuk lain, masukkan air, santan, pewarna makanan, serbuk buah pelaga, garam dan kacau sehingga mendidih.
- Lepastu, kecilkan api, masukkan tepung suji dan sentiasa kacau sehingga pekat.
- Kemudian, masukkan gula dan kacau lagi.
- Masukkan kismis, kacang gajus yang telah di goreng tadi dan sedikit minyak sapi vegan. kacau rata.
- Masukkan kesari ke dalam bekas kaca yang beralaskan daun pisang. Ratakan dan biarkan ia sejuk.
- Setelah sejuk, baru boleh potong dan sedia untuk dihidang.
