GOBI MANCHURIAN – CHEF DAVE

Batter Ingredients:
- ½ cup all purpose flour
- ¼ cup cornstarch
- ½ tsp chili powder
- A pinch black pepper powder
- A little bit salt
- ½ cup water
Other Ingredients:
- 250gm cauliflower
- Oil (frying)
Stir-fry Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp garlic (finely chopped)
- ½ tbsp ginger (finely chopped)
- 1 green chili (finely sliced)
- 1 tsp chili powder
- A little water
- 1/3 cup onion (diced)
- ½ cup green bell peppers (diced)
- 2 tbsp sliced spring onion
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2-3 tbsp chili sauce
- 1-2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
Cooking method:
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Meanwhile, prepare a bowl, add all purpose flour, cornstarch, chili powder, black pepper powder, water and salt. Mix well until you get the texture like in the video.
- Coat the cauliflower with the mixture and fry until cooked. Set aside.
- Prepare another pan, saute onion, garlic, ginger and green chilies. Stir until fragrant.
- Add chili powder and a little water. Leave until the oil breaks.
- Then, add chili sauce, tomato sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar and salt. Stir well.
- Add the fried cauliflower, bell pepper and spring onion. Stir well and ready to serve.

Bahan – bahan adunan:
- ½ cawan tepung gandum
- ¼ cawan tepung jagung
- ½ sudu kecil serbuk cili
- Secubit serbuk lada hitam
- Sedikit garam
- ½ cawan air
Bahan – bahan lain:
- 250gm bunga kobis
- Minyak (goreng)
Bahan – bahan lain:
- 2 sudu besar minyak
- 1 sudu besar bawang putih(cincang halus)
- ½ sudu besar halia(cincang halus)
- 1 cili hijau(hiris halus)
- 1 sudu kecil serbuk cili
- Sedikit air
- 1/3 cawan bawang merah (potong dadu)
- ½ cawan lada banggala hijau (potong dadu)
- 2 sudu besar hirisan daun bawang
- 1 sudu besar kicap soya
- 2-3 sudu besar sos cili
- 1-2 sudu besar sos tomato
- 1 sudu besar gula
Cara memasak:
- Panaskan minyak dalam kuali.
- Sementara itu, sedia mangkuk, masukkan tepung gandum, tepung jagung, serbuk cili, sebuk lada hitam, air dan garam. Kacau sebati sehingga mendapat texture seperti di dalam video.
- Salutkan bunga kobis bersama adunan dan goreng sehingga masak. Ketepikan.
- Sedia kuali lain, tumis bawang merah, bawang putih, halia dan cili hijau. Kacau sehingga naik bau.
- Masukkan serbuk cili dan sedikit air. Biarkan sehingga pecah minyak.
- Lepastu, masukkan sos cili, sos tomato, kicap soya, gula merah dan garam. Kacau sebati.
- Masukkan bunga kobis yang dah goreng tadi, lada banggala dan hirisan daun bawang. Kacau sebati dan sedia untuk dihidang.
