Betel Leaf Rasam Vegan Recipe
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serving: 2 – 3 pax
Ingredients:
- 3 betel leaves
- 5 – 6 cloves of garlic
- 2 green chillies
- A little dhal
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tbsp black pepper powder
- 1 tbsp turmeric powder
- A little sweet cumin
- A little curry leaves
- A little Javanese acid
- 2 cups water
- 1 tomato (small pieces)
- 1 onion
- A little mixed herb
- 2 dried chillies (cut into small pieces)
- A little soup leaf (finely chopped)
Cooking method:
- First grind all the above ingredients
- Dissolve Javanese acid with water then mix with the ground ingredients and set aside
- Prepare a pot/clay pot, add a little oil and place mixed herbs. Stir until fragrant
- Add the dried chillies and curry leaves. Messed up again
- Add the onions and stir again
- Add all the ingredients that were ground earlier
- Add tomatoes and a little salt, mix well. When the water starts to boil can turn off the heat. Ready to be served

Hidangan: 2 – 3 orang
Bahan-bahan:
- 3 helai daun sirih
- 5 – 6 ulas bawang putih
- 2 cili hijau
- Sedikit kacang dhal
- 1 sudu besar serbuk ketumbar
- 1/2 sudu serbuk lada hitam
- 1 sudu kecil serbuk kunyit
- Sedikit jintan manis
- Sedikit daun kari
- Sedikit asam jawa
- 2 cawan air
- 1 biji tomato (potong kecil)
- 1 bawang merah
- Sedikit herba campur
- 2 cili kering (potong kecil)
- Sedikit daun sup (potong halus)
Langkah-langkah menyedikan:
- Kisar dahulu semua bahan diatas
- Larutkan asam jawa dengan air lalu campurkan bersama bahan kisar tadi dan ketepikan
- Sediakan periuk/claypot masukkan sedikit minyak dan letak herba campur. Kacau sehingga naik bau
- Masukkan cili kering dan daun kari. Kacau lagi
- Masukkan bawang merah dan kacau lagi
- Masukkan semua bahan yang dikisar tadi
- Masukkan juga tomato dan sedikit garam, kacau sebati. Bila air mula mendidih boleh tutup api. Sedia untuk dihidang
